Pet Partners Handler Workshop (In Person) and Course (On-line)

Note: Please read all the information under the Therapy Animal Program tab before signing up for a course.

The Pet Partners Handler Training can be taken as an in-person workshop with ElderPet or on-line course through Pet Partners. Handlers will learn about ways they can support their animal while on visits, interact with different types of clients, the real-life application of the standards/best practices of Pet Partners Therapy Animal Program. This will include preparing the handler for the team evaluation. The in-person class is highly recommended because of interaction with other future handlers, role play, and being able to ask questions of the instructor and guest team. This course is for the handler only. Pets do not accompany the handler for this course.
